Social workers perform the following main tasks:

increasing public awareness on social services and assistance, as well as the activity of overall social work;

development of an individual plan with respective organization of the service provision to families and individuals in need of social protection;

submitting an application for receiving social services and assistance on behalf of a person in need of social protection;

mobilization of resources, including those willing (relatives, neighbors, volunteers, sponsors) to provide social services and assistance, as well as coordinating their activities in this direction;

taking complex measures to overcome the problems of people in need of social protection in cooperation with the chairman of the mahalla, assistant of khokim, prevention inspector, women’s activist, youth leader, tax inspector;

provision of explanations and guidances to the population about social services and assistance guaranteed by the state, as well as the rights to receive these services.
